Natural, DIY Carpet Refresher with Essential Oils

I've been loving this natural, DIY carpet refresher with essential oils I've been using to clean and freshen up all the rugs in my house. It works great and leaves a peaceful fresh scent throughout the house. I use tea tree oil for it's antimicrobial properties. I also used eucalyptus and lemon essential oils. I love eucalyptus for it's respiratory support, and the lemon naturally eases stress and fights fatigue.

I also use baking soda as it is a natural deodorizer and it can remove tough stains.

Ingredients:

-2 cups baking soda

-30 drops tea tree essential oil

-20 drops eucalyptus essential oil

-10 drops lemon essential oil

Directions:

Combine baking soda with essential oils in a small mixing bowl. Sift together with a whisk or a fork until well blended. Let sit for 1 hour and sprinkle generously onto any carpet area you'd like to treat. Let sit in the carpets for 1 - 3 hours before vacuuming up.

I love how this carpet refresher makes my entire house smell fresh and helps my whole family to feel just a little more peaceful. I hope you enjoy it too.
